As you begin to shop for Valentine’s Day cards for children to distribute at school, please keep in mind that cards may not contain any type of candy or food. We have a large population of students at Indian Trail with food related allergies and it is our goal to keep every student safe. Per district policy, there will only be one "sweet treat" provided per room during the Valentine's Day classroom party.

iRead Forms are due on Monday- if you have lost the form, please print it from the post below. ALL STUDENTS MUST TURN IN THEIR READING MINUTES! Book Orders are also due Monday. I already have my eyes on some new books I know the kids will love! It's been great to have a full week of school and get back into the swing of things. At the end of the week, the table with the most Dojo Points gets a table reward for the next week. Math We are working on Standard NB.5-NB.7, using base ten blocks to add 2-digit numbers. This makes the idea of "re-grouping" or "carrying" concrete and visual. Visualizing

We followed the experiment by writing lab reports, stating our scientific question, hypothesis, steps, results and conclusions. Ryan's Galapagos PresentationWe Read for iRead!
