Snack & Water Bottle
In these cold winter months, we often forget the importance of hydrating because our bodies aren't hot. But our classroom/school is VERY dry with the heat on. Water bottles are still important and I also recommend sending a chapstick/lip balm in your child's backpack.
I have also noticed that many kids are not bringing a snack. We do have a school-provided snack bucket in the classroom, but that is when kids truly forget their snack or don't have any fruits or vegetables at home. So please send one or two fruit or vegetable snacks with your child every day.
